Appeal for Volunteers

Would you be and would be prepared to give some of your time to help the CAT? The CAT has been running for 12 years and is organized by a small team of volunteers. It’s a competitive and fun triathlon that appeals to hyper competitive triathletes as well as first timers. We are a not for profit event and we raise funds to support young local athletes through grants. We would like to recruit 3 or 4 volunteers to join our team. The responsibilities vary and are delegated around your skill set.

Here is a list of some typical activities:

  • Confirming approvals for event from land owners and authorities.
  • Administration
  • Organizing event facilities
  • Financial management
  • Media updates. Website, Facebook and local papers etc.
  • Entry management
  • Coordinating marshals
  • Event day management and support

We have four meetings a year in Aviemore, or close by, and tasks can be scaled to your availability and skills.
